The Frist Anthology
I know, I know, I know .... what was I thinking? Naming an album 'The First Anthology?" - wha? wha? Did I think I was KISS or something? It's just that I'd been recording for over ten years and thought of it as a milestone ... forgive me, please.
And the album is actually a re-release of 'Christian Music' with some additional tunes (listed below) I proudly recorded at home on a 4 track tape machine. I loved that lil' booger. Still got it. Gonna use it again one day.

DWI - Driving While Inspired - re-written / re-arranged for this album!
Happy about re-doing this song. I gave it more structure and even add lyrics to it. This tune got allot of airplay from Christian Music and I was happy to make it even a little better. Yes, people still ask me about this tune - see the Christian Music page for the story.
Aftertoughts of Victory
This was just one of those acoustic guitar things that turned out halfway cool. The title comes from how we reflect on spiritual victories, take joy in them, look forward to more of them, wonder why we don't have them more oftern ... you know ... it all makes sense somehow.
Religion 101
Okay, I'm not happy about this one. It was from listening to too much Carmen in the 80's and it finally surfaced. The idea behind this song is (shamefully) to poke fun at all major religions and be insulting in a foolish and brain-dead effort at trying to exalt Christ. I've learned my lesson. God doesn't need our defense - especially this kind of defense.
Just Like David Did
Funny, funny, song (if I say so myself) - ti was fun writing and fun singing. Kept it simple and I reflected my big love of the Word telling the stories of the OT heroes. Also, it's more of a coming home to being from the South and reflecting it in music. Ain't ashamed of being southern. Nosireee.
